Welcome to Allison Beers, Public Relations Coordinator for Northwest Michigan

Michigan Blood has named Allison Beers as its public relations coordinator for the northwest Michigan region.

“Allison was a natural fit for Michigan Blood,” said Nick Wasmiller, Michigan Blood’s manager of public relations.  “She is well connected, is motivated by giving back to her community and has an outstanding reputation.”

Beers will oversee an intentional process to lend and secure community support, coordinate local special events and work with local media to promote Michigan Blood in Antrim, Kalkaska, Grand Traverse, Wexford, Manistee and Benzie counties.

Beers will continue to operate Events North, a Traverse City-based event management agency separately from her work with Michigan Blood.  She is a member of the board of directors for The Downtown Traverse City Association and is President of the board of directors for the Festival Foundation. She has been selected as one of the 40 Under Forty by The Traverse City Business News for the past four years.
