  Fore For Life Charity Golf Tourney Set For June 30, 2008

GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGANS (February 1, 2008): Golfers and sponsors are needed and invited to take part in this 18-hole scramble sponsored by Michigan Community Blood Centers on June 30, 2008 at Blythefield Country Club in Belmont, featuring a par-72 bluegrass course designed by William B. Langford.

All proceeds benefit Michigan Community Blood Centers Marrow/Stem Cell Program and Cord Blood Bank.

The entry fee ($150 per person) includes lunch, 18 holes of golf with cart, cocktail and networking hour, and dinner – plus raffles and live auction with honorary event chairperson Judge Sara Smolenski as auctioneer.

The golfer with the first hole-in-one on a designated hole will win a one-year lease on a car courtesy of Wittenbach Pontiac GMC.

Various Fore for Life sponsorship levels are available with promotional options including print and online advertising.

Looking Back

Bidders at the Fore for Life 2007 auction agreed with Judge Sara Smolenski's verdict: the "Cruisin' Cooler" was the most fun item for sale at the fundraiser. The Judge happily demonstrated proper attire and safe riding techniques.
