Blood Center Will Partner With Pistons For 2008 Fundraiser

GRAND RAPIDS, MI (September 28, 2007): The Detroit Pistons have announced that March 16, 2008 will be “Michigan Community Blood Centers Night” at The Palace At Auburn Hills, where they will play a home game against the New Orleans Hornets. A portion of the proceeds from MCBC ticket sales will benefit the Blood Center. Michigan Community Blood Centers Development Department is
organizing a special donor/fan bus trip from Grand Rapids to Auburn Hills for the special Pistons game. Cost is $65 per person, which includes deluxe motor coach transportation and snacks along the way. Every participant will receive a free Detroit Pistons hat. The first dozen kids under 12 years of age to sign up (with parent’s permission) will get to participate in the Pistons Kids Tunnel at the start of the game (6 p.m.).
